- although both David Stone and Bob Daisley were credited on the album, Tony Carey insists his keyboard parts were used for most of the songs that made the final mix; also Ritchie Blackmore played bass on several of the album tracks
- original version has a silver label with catalogue number 2066 913
- 1981 UK reissue features a different picture sleeve (above) and has a red label with POSP 276 catalogue number
- note the very similar variations on the same theme for other countries’ picture sleeves; the German version was adopted for the UK 1981 reissue
