Dougal ‘Doogie’ White
born: 7 March, 1960
Motherwell, Scotland

White began his career in Scotland in 1984 singing for a band called La Paz, then a melodic rock band called Midnight Blue in 1988. He had sent a demo tape into Blackmore’s management in the early 1990s but it was ignored until Candice Night rediscovered it and White was auditioned and then hired in 1994 for the new version of Rainbow.

Following the final demise of Rainbow in 1997, White has worked on numerous projects including Praying Mantis, Midnight Blue and most recently with Michael Schenker on his ‘Temple Of Rock’ album and tour.
